* Update on 2019 Season *
The American Flag Football League's 2019 season is quickly approaching!
We will once again feature 128 teams playing across the country in regional events starting on NFL Draft weekend, April 27-28th in Nashville, Tennessee, and continuing through the first weekend in June.
Working with local league operators, we expect to put on 7 regional events in the following locations between late April and early June (exact dates and locations TBA):
Nashville, TN, April 27-28
Orlando, FL
Austin, TX
Arlington, TX
Richmond, VA
NY/CT area
Southern California
The two-day format for the 2019 regional events will include:
Day 1: Pool play, consisting of three 40-minute games
Day 2: A seeded, single-elimination tournament producing 1 winner for every 8 teams
Cash prizes will be paid to the winners of each regional
Winners of each regional event will be one step closer to playing for the $1 million grand prize!
We anticipate opening registration exclusively on AFFL’s website in late November 2018, so get your team organized now and follow us on social media for registration updates!

The Final
Fighting Cancer
This Thursday, July 19, 2018 is the day. Finally, the Amateurs will take on the Pro’s.
We’ve seen Fighting Cancer battle through 7 games to make it to this point. It all started May 5th in Atlanta where they beat Dirty South (38-0) and Dallas Twisted Black (40-12) to move on to New Jersey for the Round of 32. At the NY Jets Training Facility they battled and defeated Pound for Pound (41-14) and Florida’s Finest (32-21), setting up the chance to show America who they were live, and in primetime, on NFL Network. At the Round of 8 in Pittsburgh they defeated the Strong Island Bulldogs (18-6) and moved on to Atlanta where they came out on top yet again versus Primetime (35-14) on July 7th. Just last weekend Fighting Cancer had their toughest matchup yet, The Money Team. As close as it was, they showed America who the much deserved Amateur Champ’s were, winning the game 35-26.
This fine group of men started their journey 2 1/2 months ago with one mission – to bring home the $1,000,000 grand prize. Be sure to tune in and watch the life changing Ultimate Final Thursday July 19th at 8pm EST.

Avant was drafted as WR in 2006 and played for the Eagles, Panthers, and Chiefs. Previous to his NFL career he played college football at Michigan where he won the Bo Schembechler Award.

Who created the dip?!

As a flag football fan and player I have always been amazed when a player is running full speed and out of nowhere they are ass to grass…somehow evading flag pulls at full speed. Not many people have had the opportunity to witness it, but those who have know that the dip is an evasive and game-changing move.
I decided to interview a couple of players that I have personally seen dip in a game, Terrance Bunting and Corey Webb. Both claim to have created and mastered the move!

You don't need EX NFL players to be great
Fighting Cancer is proof!​
Not every team that has made it to the round of 12 has many former NFL players on its roster. In fact, there are some outstanding AFFL teams who have very few players that have played above college football.
The Fighting Cancer team, widely known as one of the top 7on-7 flag teams in the country, is one of the favorites to make it to Houston (for the Championship game).
But the interesting fact is that the Fighting Cancer team only has one former NFL player (WR Harry Coleman) on its roster. And only two other players on their roster have played in a professional league (RB Terrance Bunting and WR/DB Robert Myers).
